Event Category: One Day Class/Workshop
Join us for BHC’s first official GEOGRAPHY FAIR! Students may choose any country outside of the United States. Please register on BHC website by December 6th!
LOCATION: Hoover Public Library Fitzgerald and Shakespeare Rooms
- Students may create a digital presentation, a poster or tri-fold board, or a speech.
- Students may dress in traditional dress, bring a treat to share, show a traditional dance, play music from that country, etc. This is an opportunity for them to be creative!
- In addition, it is their choice if they want to focus on cultural or physical geography or both.
- Multiple students may work together on a single project.
- All presentations must be in English and the student should be prepared to answer age-specific questions about their project during the open time where other students and parents can come see their project.
- Tri-fold, stand alone cardboard display boards can be found at Hobby Lobby for around $3.
- Projects should not need to be plugged in or require other resources, and they must not make a mess.
- Presentations should be no longer than 5 minutes each.
- Please register by December 6 so we can have a final number to prepare for appropriate space for everyone’s projects.
