Why have paid listings?

- Helps to maintain the expense of the website.  BHC is a volunteer, support community.

- Encourages organizations and organizers to be committed to maintaining their listings.

PLEASE NOTE

Essential Church School is the sponsoring organization for the Birmingham Homeschoolers Community.  It is a 501(c)(3) organization which supports educational services for homeschool families.  All payments are processed through Essential.

 

Listing Types

Place

Every provider or organization should have a Place listing.  This gives general information about the provider or organization or company, so families can contact for more information. (eg. Tutor, Church School, Co-Op, Museum, Company)

Class

Specific classes which are offered and open for registration should use this listing type.  Only use for current classes offered.  (eg. Art Class for the Spring, Summer ACT Prep Class, Group Piano Class)

Event

Special events or activities open for registration or participation should use this listing type.  (eg, Homeschool Day, Field Trip Experience, Community Event)

Resource

Virtual resources or products - that do not have locations which are visited - should use this listing type.  (eg. Scholarship Offering, Curriculum, Online Course Provider)
