Simply outstanding.
Master Scarsella is one of the most gifted instructors I’ve been privileged to observe. He is highly skilled not only in the area of taekwondo but in effective communication and appropriate developmental practice for students of all ages. This is reflected not only in his instruction but in the work and preparation of his staff instructors.
The dojang’s community events are just as excellent as the ongoing instruction in classes; suitable for the entire family, they give back to the community a tremendous level of value. From the free Back-to-School class on focus and self-confidence to the annual fundraising event for charity, this taekwondo school is more than a center of martial arts learning, It is an asset to the Birmingham community.
